On a wet, snowy New England night, I journeyed over to The Biltmore, an awesome pub in the
Upper Falls region of Newton. Located at 1205 Chestnut Street, this place offers a
cheerful neighborhood atmosphere with some great food (I can personally vouch
for their burgers) and drink. The staff is friendly, and always makes sure the
customers leave happy. In the spirit of Don Draper I decided to go with an Old
Fashioned…
Muddle: A cherry, orange, sugar, and a dash of Angostura
bitters.
Add: 2 oz of Bully Boy American Straight whiskey and a
splash of club soda, add ice to glass.
When it’s cold and nasty outside there is truly nothing
better than settling into a barstool at a place like The Biltmore with a
well-made cocktail in hand, enjoying some good cheer and friendly service. Next
time you find yourself in the Upper Falls region, be sure to get on over to The
Biltmore and take a load off.
